Creativity/Personal Self-Expression

Get Out of Your Own Way.

Say What You Truly Mean.

Yes, my process will make you more creative... because it's part of what I do and have done for others since 1987.

Remember this: You're considered a freak by others until your success causes them to see you as a genius.

Get to work on becoming that undeniable freak right now... and you'll unlock the path to your own genius far sooner.

So let's engage in some personal reflection:

I will ask you a few questions and you get to answer them, keeping track for your own creative health.

1. Do you actually prefer seeing people who are imitators and copycats with their style and their message?

2. Does watching someone use the exact same approach as so many others make you want to pay closer attention and possibly even join them and buy their offers?

3. Does it feel liberating to simply allow AI to replace you on webinars and staged presentations, because there's no incentive to interest people in your uniqueness?

4. If given the opportunity to catch the Rolling Stones for free... or see a Rolling Stones cover band that same night, would you choose the cover band over The Stones?

[if you can't stand the Stones, replace them with your favorite band, and then answer the question.]

I think you see where this is going...

True creativity is whaat you make of it, and if it means so little to you that you're willing to gladly compromise your unique sense of self-expression and simply do all the generic crapola just like everyone else - and not yearn to rise above the Herd Of Droners out there - then please go find me a friend, colleague or peer of yours who embraces a desire to unleash a wilder, more profound version of self.

It's ok if this isn't for you. I am not here to convince you to do as Walt Whitman compelled (to "sound your barbaric Yawp o'er the rooftops of the world").

I'm here for you when you know that every musician you love, each actor & director whose films you watch because they made it, those authors whose books you've reread and love to quote, and the speakers whose TEDtalks you recommend to others really do it for ya.

The Creative Compass is a series of tools, exercises and theories that bring confidence and a thrill of knowing how to tap into your own uniqueness.

The Creative Compass can be put to work by eveyone in almost any situation.
